In Brief
Kamadhenu Gowshala and Foundation is a Gowshala with about 700 cows and calves in Mokila, Hyderabad, Telangana.
It was a privately run Gowshala established by the founding family out of personal devotion. After being hit suddenly and harshly by the Covid crisis, the founding family's businesses and finances diminished and they were unable to sustain the Gowshala.
With the help of well wishers, The Gowshala has been converted to a state registered trust, being audited, and planned to be run as a not for profit venture. Section 80(G) and 12A certificates have been approved, and we are now eligible for CSR as well. Audit for FY 2021-2022 is also done and available for viewing.
Currently, we are focusing on the recovery of Gowmatas affected by Lumpy Virus Epidemic, and getting all the Gowmatas in Gowshala to full health.
In the future, we hope to build a new shed for accommodating and sheltering 300 additional Gowmatas once situations stabilise.
